A Ceremony of Carols: Benjamin Britten

Sunday evening, the 3rd of December, I had the opportunity to perform with the Creakes Choir and Walsingers' Childrens Choir, under the direction of Justin Harmer, in the Church of

Our Lady of the Annunciation, Little Walsingham. I sang two individual pieces, and the mezzo-soprano solos in the Ceremony of Carols. The guest harpist, Lise Vandersmissen, was not only amazing in the Britten, but treated us to several solo pieces, including one of her own compositions. It was a lovely experience, with great musicians and

a kind, friendly audience. I hope to sing with them again in the future!
