Vocal Tuition Introduction

Alexandra started teaching 15 years ago, when a friend begged her for a few voice lessons. She quickly realised that sharing her knowledge of vocal technique and performance craft was deeply satisfying and a calling of its own.

Alexandra’s studio consists of singers from all walks of life, young, aspiring professionals, adult beginners, and everything in between. She firmly believes that the foundations of good technique, and the rewards from singing, are the same for everyone. Regardless of your musical goals, singing brings joy, confidence and the pleasure of musical expression.

The core of Alexandra's technique is based on the Italianate Bel Canto or "beautiful singing." She is committed to ongoing learning about vocal pedagogy, and is an active member of AOTOS, The Association of Teachers of Singing.

Most students attend for one on one, in person lessons. Lessons at your home, group, and online lessons may be accommodated upon request.
